No problem. Although, I'm hesitant to bring this up considering the picture is already done and it looks great (and I'm guessing it's been brought to your attention before), but I noticed the folds of Kyoshi's kimono seem backwards. The usual style in her appearances on the show is left side over right side, and this picture is right over left. The right over left style has been associated with funerals and burials in Japanese culture, which I guess works considering Kyoshi has passed away and become a spirit in the show.
Anyways, sorry if that's old news or you've already realized that. I couldn't help myself. It's really the only problem I have with the picture.
I actually haven't heard that before! Thanks for bringing that up! I started the painting with her facing the other direction and usually flip the canvas every now and then to ensure that I don't miss anything. I felt leaving her facing the the left side better fit the overall flow of all 4 pieces if they ever were to be printed side by side Also, originally I had Kyoshi closing her eyes (like Roku and Aang) as a sign that she has passed, but in the end I decided to paint in open eyes for it looked too plain for my taste :3 But now that you've pointed out the kimono thing I feel a little more at peace that it also nods to her passing away.
